Use of this website shall exclusively be admissible on the basis of the conditions stipulated hereunder.

2.1 On the domain pages presented, advotec. provides information, where necessary documentations and forms, for the purpose of being accessed or downloaded.

2.2 advotec. is entitled to partly or else completely stall at any time operation of the advotec. website. Due to the configuration system used for the internet (respectively computer systems) advotec. gives no warranty for the uninterrupted availability of the advotec. website.

3. Rights to use of information, documentations and forms
3.1 Use of the information provided on this website, where necessary of documentations and forms, shall be governed by the conditions stipulated hereunder.

3.2 advotec. grants to the user a non-exclusive and non-transferrable right to make use of the information disclosed on this website, where appropriate of the documentations and forms, to the extent agreed or, unless nothing has been agreed in this regard, in conformity with the purpose intended on the part of advotec. when providing said information.

3.3 Neither information and documentations nor forms shall at any time be distributed or else leased to a third party. Unless mandatory legal provisions permit anything to the contrary, the user shall neither be entitled to alter said documents/forms nor to extract parts thereof.

3.4 The illustrations, graphic representations and photographs, as well as information, documentations and forms are protected both by virtue of Copyright Laws and, where appropriate, by virtue of other laws and agreements on industrial property rights. The user shall adhere to and safeguard said rights, in particular the user shall not be authorized to remove trademark and/or copyright annotations from illustrations or photographs, information, documentations and forms, respectively from copies thereof.

4. Intellectual Property
4.1 In the absence of the prior written consent given by advotec., graphic representations, photographs, information, trademark names and other content shall neither be exploited nor used for any purposes other than those, where appropriate, specified. This provision shall apply in particular for duplication, adaptation, translation, storage, processing, respectively reproduction of content in databases or other electronic media and systems. Photocopies and downloads of websites may only be produced for personal and private use and shall not be the subject of commercial use.

5. Duties on the part of the user
5.1 During use of the advotec. website, the user shall in particular refrain from:
* transmitting content laden with viruses, worms, Trojan Horses or other scripts/coding which may demage the software;
* entering, storing or sending hyperlinks or content to which the user is not authorized, in particular in the event that said hyperlinks or pieces of content contravene obligations of secrecy or are contrary to law; or
* disseminating advertisement, unsolicited e-mails/spam mails or false warnings of viruses, malfunction or the like, or offering invitations to partake in lotteries, chain letters or other comparable activities.

6. Hyperlinks
the advotec. website contains hyperlinks to a couple of third-party websites. Notwithstanding the aspect that the correctness of the links and the warrantableness of the content of the linked websites are verified at regular intervals, said websites feature pieces of content which fall beyond the sphere of influence of advotec. Thus, advotec. assumes neither personal liability nor places any own claims on said websites and/or the content thereof.

7.2 Even though advotec. takes all due care to keep the website virus-free, a permanently virus-free state of content cannot always be guaranteed. Prior to downloading information, where appropriate documentations or forms, the user shall ensure for his/her own security to be equipped with appropriate security systems and virus scanners.

The protection of person-related data constitutes one of our mayor concerns. For this reason, our activities are performed in compliance with the applicable legal provisions on the protection of person-related data and for data security.

Specification of purpose
The person-related data put at disposal on your part are generally used by us for preparing replies to your enquiries, to process your orders or to provide you with access to certain pieces or information or else offers.

  • In their capacity as representatives admitted to practice before the European Patent Office, the Code of Professional Conduct of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi) (epi Information 2/2001, S. 75) (http://216.92.57.242/patentepi/english/100/120/121/) is applicable for the Patent Attorneys.

For European Trademark and Design Attorneys, the following professional regulations shall be applicable: Council Regulation (EC) No 40/94 of December 20, 1993 on the Community Trademark and Council Regulation (EC) nš 6/2002 of December 12, 2001 on Community Designs.
