Dr. Andreas Schuchert

Dr. Andreas Schuchert was awarded the Dipl-Ing. Degree (Graduate Engineer) in electrical engineering at the Aachen University of Technology (RWTH Aachen) in 1990 followed by the Dr.-Ing. Degree (Doctor of Engineering) in the field of digital communication.

During his research activity at the Motorola Inc. he placed his focus on the design of digital transmission systems and was in charge of projecting telematics system concepts for the automotive industry. As an active member of the standardization bodies within the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) he was involved in the introduction of the digital broadcast system DVB.

Since 2004 Dr. Andreas Schuchert has been working in the field of intellectual property. After gaining practial experience in a law firm specialized in intellectual property rights relating to the field of electrical and mechanical engineering and after gaining practical experience in legal procedures at the OLG (Higher Regional Court) of Düsseldorf, Dr. Schuchert has been working as a German Patent and Trademark Attorney. Dr. Schuchert is mainly involved in patent prosecution and patent litigation matters relating to high-tech industry products.

Dr. Andreas Schuchert is a member of the Chamber of German Patent Attorneys.
