Dr. Beate Binsack

Dr. Beate Binsack studied chemistry at the Universities of Bonn and Cologne and did Scientific work in the fields of organic chemistry at the University of Cologne. She holds a doctorate degree in chemistry.

She worked for the patent department of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Munich and the patent department of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt.

She has particular experiences in patent matters in the fields of organic chemistry; inorganic chemistry; polymer chemistry; biochemistry and pharmaceuticals. The activities in these fields included patent, utility model and trademark prosecution, including opposition proceedings, and licensing.

She is a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (epi), the Board of German Patent Attorneys (Patentanwaltskammer), the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI), and the German Association for Industrial Property and Copyright (GRUR).
