Dr. Lars Petri

Dr. Lars Petri studied law at the University of Giessen. After completion of his legal traineeship in Düsseldorf in 2004 he gained first professional experience in a patent attorney and attorney-at-law firm in Düsseldorf. In parallel to his work at this law firm he acquired his doctorate at the Kurt-Koertel Institute for intellectual property of the University of Hagen. He carries the title "Certified IP Lawyer" and is the co-author of various contributions to patent and contractual licensing law.

His legal work performed has a special focus on the extrajudicial and judicial enforcement of patent, trademark and competitive law-related claims and the revision and preparation of licensing agreements and providing professional advice to trademark applicants.  

Dr. Lars Petri is a member of the Chamber of Lawyers of Bamberg (RAK Bamberg), the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP) and the Association of European Trademark Owners (MARQUES).
