Publication of the Grant of a Patent

With the publication of the grant of a patent, on the one hand, the legal effects of the patent come into force, enabling the patentee to enforce his/her industrial property rights. On the other hand, a three-month period for filing an opposition is granted, giving third parties an opportunity to take action against an unlawfully granted patent in opposition proceedings.
